Payment Terms & Conditions:

We urge all guests to read the cancellation and refund policy before booking.

WE CHARGE A $20 KEY DEPOSIT PER KEY WHICH IS REFUNDED ON RETURN OF KEY AT CHECK OUT.

For all camping and accommodation types:

Deposit Policy & Fees: A deposit of 1 night’s accommodation is taken at time of booking. All other fees are to be paid prior to arrival.

Cancellations/Refunds: We have a 72hr cancellation policy, deposit will be refunded if cancellation is given with more than 72 hours’ notice of arrival. Cancellation within the 72 hours of arrival will forfeit all monies paid.

Weather: Please note before booking that the weather is out of our control and if you choose to cancel your booking due to weather conditions there will be no refunds given.

No Show and early departures: Will forfeit any money paid, there will be no refunds or credits given.

Please respect that we are a small family run business and the weather or your individual circumstances are out of our control.

Resort Rules:

The Rules at Colonial Village Resort are to ensure your stay with us is a safe and enjoyable one, it is a condition of entry that all guests agree to follow these without exception.

Check In: Check in is between 2pm – 6pm, if arriving after this please contact the office to arrange a late check in. Valid Photo ID will be required at check in for all guests over the ages of 18.

Check Out: Check out for all rooms and sites is strictly 10am. All sites and rooms are to be left in a clean and tidy condition or a cleaning fee will be charged. Amenities and facilities are not accessible after checking out.

Speed Limit: The resort roads are Shared Zones with a speed limit of 5km/hr. Speeding will not be tolerated.

Parking: Only ONE vehicle is allowed per site – this includes boats & jet skis. Extra vehicles must be parked in the carpark.

Noise: We are a family friendly resort and ask you to be considerate of your neighbours regarding noise levels into the evenings. There is a NO noise rule from 10pm.

Pets: All pets must be on a leash while in the resort and any droppings are too picked up immediately. pets are only allowed on sites, no pets are allowed in rooms, pool, amenities, or bistro.

Zero Tolerance: Failure to follow the managers instructions or aggressive behaviour and any form verbal/physical abuse towards them or staff or other guests will not be tolerated and will result in immediate eviction from the resort without refund.

Laundry: Coin-operated washing machines and dryer are in the Laundry hut. Washing machines are $4 per cycle (4 x $1 or 2 X $2) and dryer is $1 per 10 minutes. Do NOT wash pet blankets in washing machines.

Kitchens: We have 2 kitchens available for guests to use, please ensure they are left in a clean and tidy condition after using them. These are not available to use after checking out.

Pool Hours: 8am – 7pm. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult. No running, diving, or bombing into pool.

Scooters, Skateboards & Bicycles: are NOT to be ridden near the Villas/cabins or budget rooms at any times. Guests may ride in and out of the resort and the speed limit of 5km/hr applies. Riding around the pool, amenities, bistro or in rooms is not permitted at any time. Riding on roadway is at your own risk. Electric Skateboards and Scooters are not allowed.

Dump Point: We do NOT have a dump point. NO effluent is to be placed down the toilets. The closest dump point is located at Hervey Bay Visitor Information Centre, Maryborough/Hervey Bay Road.
